Nick Aylward
Upon retiring from 45 years of dedicated service at Newfoundland Power, Nick has joined the staff at Aylward’s Designs. Even though Nick has been a crucial player since day one his focus now will be in the accounting department. However, his role will not stop there, Nick is constantly picking up supplies and delivering products to customers, to many people, he is the face of the company. Nick has deep knowledge of long-term clients, he is crucial in the setting up for product fairs and wedding shows, he is a great editor and often helps out with the finish work.
Nick is a long time volunteer at the local Southern Shore Arena and with Southern Shore Amateur Hockey Association, winning many awards for his constant dedication, including the Queen’s Jubilee Medal; the RBC’s Real MVP Award, granting him a full year on display at Canada’s National Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005; the Ken Williams Award; and the Senior Hockey MVP Volunteer Award. Nick is constantly busy… it might not have been his dream to own a print shop like it was Kay’s, but he has embraced it fully and the shop would not be where it is without him.
